EACO Secretariat
The EACO Secretariat is the administrative backbone of the Organisation, responsible for executing business operations, managing programmes, and representing EACO regionally and internationally.

Executive Director
The Executive Director heads the EACO Secretariat and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Organisation. The Executive Director ensures the implementation of decisions made by EACO organs and manages a team of Liaison Managers covering Human Resources & Administration, ICT, and Regulatory Affairs.

Secretariat Responsibilities
Conducting and executing EACO business operations on a day-to-day basis.
Development and implementation of the strategic plan and management of all EACO programmes and projects.
Convening, in consultation with Chairpersons of relevant organs, the meetings of various organs/committees and maintaining records.
Development of necessary information and position papers to be discussed by the various EACO institutions.
Providing strategic and technical facilitation as well as administrative and logistical support to the meetings of all EACO organs.
Establishing an information database and documentation for the ICT industry and disseminating such information to the membership.
Carrying out general and financial administration including preparation of operational and financial plans, budgets, and ensuring annual auditing.
Mobilizing funds from development partners and other sources for the implementation of EACO programs and activities.
Representing and promoting EACO regionally and internationally to strengthen partnerships and visibility.
Maintaining and safekeeping of all official documents, records and assets of the Organisation.
Such other activities as the Congress may from time to time determine, ensuring organisational agility.
The expenses of the EACO Secretariat shall be borne by members, reflecting collective ownership.
